TON Memelandia Launches the Memecoin Battles

TON Memelandia announced the launch of its Memecoin Battles, where traders, token creators, and memecoin communities will compete for a share of a potential $1,250,000 prize pool.

The inaugural season will feature two high-stakes competitions — Cabal Arena and Memecoin Mountain — designed to test the skills and engagement of participants in the fast-growing world of memecoins.

Created by TON Community and supported by TON Foundation and TON Society, TON Memelandia allows communities to create, thrive, and battle using the power of Telegram’s messaging platform. The Memecoin Battles are set to run for four weeks, starting the week commencing October 28th, 2024. Applications are now open and will remain open until one week before the competition ends.

The Cabal Arena

In the Cabal Arena, teams — referred to as “Cabals” — will compete by deploying and trading memes, with the aim of achieving the highest profit and loss (PnL) and trading volume. The top 10 highest-ranked Cabals will share up to $750,000 in rewards, and to ensure there is fierce competition, some of the biggest market makers in the world of Web3 will be participating as “secret agents” to both provide mentorship and challenge the trading skills of the Cabals.

Memecoin Mountain

In this competition, memecoins will compete with one another based on important performance metrics such as trading volume, market capitalization, holder growth, and social engagement. Anticipated participation includes notable and popular tokens such as $DOGS, $REDO, $FISH, and $durev, as well as other potential contenders deploying on TON. Following the battle’s conclusion, the $500,000 milestone-based prize pool — which will be unlocked if the community achieves the highest trading volume milestone across both battles — will be distributed among the community’s most engaged members.
