It wasn’t too long ago that Donald Trump considered crypto a crime-riddled scam, calling B.S. on token promoters and criticizing valuations made out of “thin air” while in office. Over the weekend, the former president’s speech at the Bitcoin 2024 conference in Nashville capped his complete about-face on the asset class: “If Bitcoin is going to the moon… I want America to be the nation that leads the way,” he said.
