CZ Says 2025 Will Be a “Send it” Year for Binance and Crypto

Binance ex-CEO Changpeng “CZ” Zhao posted today that 2025 will be a “send it” year. This enigmatic statement has sparked excitement in the crypto community.

Much like most crypto leaders, CZ is also displaying big hopes for the industry in 2025, potentially due to the wider institutional adoption and regulatory clarity for digital assets.

CZ Calls a Good Year For Binance and Crypto

CZ, the former CEO of Binance, had an eventful year in 2024. In April, he went to prison for violating the Bank Secrecy Act and was subsequently released in September.

Although he cannot ever return to his former position at the company, he still seems to be in good spirits. Today, he made a post casting an optimistic tone for 2025.

“If you ever wondered why people tweet 4, it came from this tweet 2 years ago today. In hindsight, should’ve made 4 the 0th point. 2025 will be a ‘send it’ year,” CZ claimed.

In this post, CZ referred to his four New Year’s resolutions from 2023, the fourth of which was to “Ignore FUD, fake news, attacks, etc.”

Since then, he and others have taken to posting “4” as a reaction to various developments in the space, encouraging followers to keep an optimistic outlook. For multiple reasons, CZ anticipates a good year for Binance and crypto.

This world-renowned exchange has several key things to look forward to this year. For one, the new CEO, Richard Teng, also predicted a crypto boom in 2025. Teng anticipates several favorable developments in the broader space, especially in terms of regulation.

However, in a newer statement from Binance Labs, the firm showed real excitement about having CZ back in the industry.

Although Binance will never enjoy CZ as its leader again, he still has great experience and an influential voice in the space. Less than a month ago, for example, Travala’s AVA token surged 300% after he revealed his early investment in the project.

Additionally, Binance has several other bullish developments. For example, a recent survey of its users claimed that 45% of respondents first entered the crypto space in 2024.

The platform is well-positioned to attract new users, and it’s already made major political inroads in Brazil and other large nations.
